Larry Johnson of Powell, Wyoming, long time friend and owner
of Ole Rig #1 puller truck passed away on November 10th.
Larry is the father of Rick Johnson who is a member of NSPA.
Larry suffered for months with cancer He had a stroke that
ended his battle. Please keep the Johnson family in your
thoughts and prayers. Services are Friday at 2 pm in Powell,
Wyoming at the Nelson Performing Arts Center (Northwest College Auditorium) located on the NWC Campus on Sixth Street in Powell. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the charity of one’s choice.
Mitch Mitchell, drummer for the legendary Jimi Hendrix Experience
of the 1960s and the group's last surviving member, was
found dead in his hotel room early Wednesday. He was 61.
Mitchell was a powerful force on "Are You Experienced?"
the 1967 debut album of the Hendrix band. He had an explosive
drumming style that can be heard in hard-charging songs
such as "Fire" and "Manic Depression."
Our Web designer is also a drummer and feels great loss.
Melissa Nicklas, daughter of Cathi Fulton and sister of
Mike and Amy Fulton was killed on October 28th in a tragic
auto accident. Melissa was the mother of 2 small daughters
who were hurt in the accident. Please keep the Fulton family
in your thoughts and prayers. We will have an update on
services at a later date.
Lloyd Durfee one of our original members lost his brother
last week, he suffered with cancer for several months.
Please keep Lloyd and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
We would like to thank Ralph and Darin Lauffer for volunteering
at our Adams County and Brush events. They were a great
help hooking and unhooking vehicles and we greatly appreciate
their help and the nice Email we received from Ralph.
A thank you to our announcer, Jim Hudson who does an awesome
job and we GREATLY appreciate!
